Damac Hills 2 (formerly known as Akoya and before that, Akoya Oxygen) – is a new, secluded residential development being developed by Damac Properties. It is located in the desert of south DubaiLand, about 40 minutes drive from the city centre. As of June 2021 many of the residential communities are complete while the bulk of the leisure districts and amenities are still yet to be built.
The Damac Hills 2 community is promised to offer cleaner air, naturally cooler temperatures, and a carefully designed master plan and road network system designed to reduce pollution, with dedicated spaces for bicycles and hybrids.
Homes feature energy efficient materials, air conditioning, lighting and controls, along with low-emission paints and solar water heating systems. Refuse will be separated for recycling where possible.
Villa Types
There is a wide variety of villa types on offer ranging from three to six bedrooms including Oleander, Celosia, Rivina, Aknan, Aurum, Biela, Cuatro, Hajar, Imagine, Mod Townhouses, Bughatti Villas, Just Cavalli Villas and Uno Premier Villas. The villa types are spaced out across the numerous sub-communities, each of which is named after a species of plant.
