• In November 2022 Binghatti Developers announced plans to build a new Dubai skyscraper in alliance with the luxury watch and jewellery maker Jacob & Co.
• The tower was revealed in a celebratory launch event held at the Coca-Cola Arena on November 16.
• The 104-storey ‘hypertower’ is located in Business Bay and upon completion will become the tallest residential building in the world.
• The development is likely to take between three and a half to four years.
• The tower is expected to have more than 100 floors housing two collections of luxurious residential units; ‘Sapphire’apartments with two bedrooms, and ‘Emerald Suites’ with three bedrooms.
• The upper part of the Benghati Jacob & Co Residences tower houses five exclusive penthouses – ‘floating on top of the world’ – and offering grand vistas of the city skyline. The penthouses come in three types: Fleurs de Jardin Penthouse, Astronomia Penthouse and Billionaire Penthouse.
• The Billionaire Penthouse occupies two entire floors and comes with a cinema, an infinity pool, a gym, multiple dining rooms, at least seven bedrooms, maids and chauffeur’s room, a massage room and a snooker lounge.
• The tower was designed in partnership with luxury jeweler and watch designer, Jacob & Co.
• The interiors and furnishing are inspired by Jacob & Co’s watches and luxury goods.
• The illuminated crown of the tower is inspired by the signature Jacob diamonds.
• The developer describes the super-tall skyscraper as a ‘hypertower.’
• The project, along with a final decision on its height, is expected to be confirmed before February 2023.
• The sales were launched in June 2023.
